Disclaimer
Please review the following disclaimers regarding Borderland Woodworking’s services and products:
General Information: The content on this website, in our marketing materials, and in discussions with our team is for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute a binding offer or professional advice.
Custom Work and Estimates: All projects undertaken by Borderland Woodworking are custom and unique. Any estimates or proposals provided are based on the information available at the time and are subject to change based on final design specifications, material selections, and any unforeseen site conditions. A detailed, written contract will outline the final scope of work, pricing, and terms.
Materials and Natural Variations: Wood is a natural product with inherent variations in grain, color, texture, and natural markings. While we strive for consistency, these natural characteristics are part of the beauty and uniqueness of real wood and are not considered defects. Finished products may exhibit these variations. We use high-quality materials, but natural aging, exposure to light, and environmental factors (like humidity and temperature) can cause changes over time, including slight shifts in color or dimension.
Measurements and Site Conditions: Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements and ensuring that the installation site is prepared according to agreed-upon specifications. Borderland Woodworking is not responsible for delays or additional costs incurred due to inaccurate measurements provided by the client or unforeseen site conditions that were not disclosed or discoverable during the initial assessment.
Changes to Orders: Once a contract is signed and production begins, any changes requested by the client may incur additional costs and affect the project timeline. All change orders must be formally documented and approved in writing by both parties before implementation.
Warranty and Limitation of Liability: Borderland Woodworking warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period, as detailed in your project contract. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper cleaning, exposure to extreme conditions, unauthorized modifications, or acts of God. Our liability for any claims arising from our products or services is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective item, as determined by Borderland Woodworking. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Intellectual Property: All designs, drawings, and specifications created by Borderland Woodworking for a project remain the intellectual property of Borderland Woodworking until full payment is received and the project is completed, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
